The design

The numeral gets the whole chest on a crewneck – no hood bunching at the collar, no pocket cutting the graphic off at the bottom. Detroit football went from a running joke to appointment television in a short span, and the number on the front is the shorthand for that. Three colors, all of them stadium-appropriate.

Questions about this sweatshirt

Crewneck or hoodie? The crewneck shows the full graphic and layers flat under a jacket. The hoodie is warmer, has a pocket, and costs eight dollars more. For a seat in an open stadium, take the hoodie; for a bar or a couch, take the crew.

Is this licensed by the team? No. It is an original design from a Detroit print shop, with no affiliation with or endorsement by any team, league or player. We do not print protected team marks or logos on anything we sell.

Will it shrink in the wash? Not meaningfully if you keep it out of high heat. Wash cold, tumble dry low or hang it. Hot drying is what shortens a cotton-blend fleece body and tightens the cuffs – avoid it and the fit holds.
