A custom pet portrait canvas made from your own photo, rendered as a watercolor and printed in Detroit. Canvas or poster, four sizes from 12×8 up to 36×24, starting at $59. You see and approve a proof before anything goes on a press.

How it works

1. Order the size and format you want.
2. Send us a photo – a clear, well-lit shot where your pet’s face is visible works best. A phone photo is fine.
3. We turn it into a watercolor portrait and send you a proof.
4. You approve it, or tell us what to change. Then we print and ship.

Nothing prints until you have seen it. That is the same rule we run on every custom job in the shop.

Painted and printed in-house in Metro Detroit. Because we do the artwork and the printing under one roof, changes to a proof are quick rather than a two-week round trip through a third party.

Questions about pet portraits

What kind of photo do I need to send? A clear, reasonably well-lit photo where your pet’s face is in focus. Daylight near a window beats flash. A recent phone photo is almost always good enough – we do not need a professional shot, just one where we can see the details that make your pet look like your pet.

How long does it take? The proof typically comes back within a few business days, and printing and shipping take another three to five once you approve. If you are working toward a specific date – a birthday, a holiday – tell us when you order and we will confirm whether it is achievable.

Can you do more than one pet in a single portrait? Yes. Send a photo of each one and tell us how you would like them arranged. Multi-pet portraits work best at 24×16 and larger, so each animal has room to be recognizable.

Do people order these as memorials? Often, and we take that seriously. If the only photo you have is old or low quality, send it anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can work with it before you commit to anything.
