The design

The long sleeve is the honest choice for a Michigan football season, which starts in shorts weather and ends in the kind of cold where you can see the crowd’s breath on television. Six colorways here, more than any other garment in the line, including a Royal that only appears on this one.

Is this officially licensed? No. It is an original design from a Detroit print shop, with no affiliation with or endorsement by any university, team or league, and no protected marks anywhere on the garment.

Why does it stop at 3XL? Different blank from the short sleeve. The long sleeve garment runs S through 3XL from the manufacturer. For larger sizes, the tee goes to 5XL.

Can I wear it alone or is it a base layer? Both. Standard long sleeve tee weight – fine alone through September and October, and the right thickness under a crewneck or hoodie when it turns without bulking up the shoulders.
