The design
Southwest is the neighborhood that held its ground – Vernor Highway, the bakeries and taquerias, the Ambassador Bridge overhead, a Mexican-American community that has been the city’s steadiest population for generations. On a crewneck the artwork sits flat and uninterrupted across the chest, which is the argument for this version over the hooded one.

Questions about this sweatshirt
Crewneck or hoodie – which should I get? Crewnecks layer better under a jacket and show the full graphic with nothing covering it. Hoodies are warmer and have a pocket. If you mostly wear it indoors or under outerwear, take the crew. If it is your outer layer most days, take the hoodie.
Is the fit boxy or fitted? Standard unisex, which sits between the two – straight through the body without being tight, with set-in sleeves. Order your usual size. Size up one if you want the slightly cropped, boxier look that has been the way people wear crewnecks lately.
How do I keep the print looking new? Wash cold and inside out, tumble dry low. Skip bleach and fabric softener – softener leaves a residue that dulls any print over time. Do not iron directly on the graphic; press from the inside if you need to.
